The Secret Art Of Living Without Balance

Over the past 10 years I have often been asked this question: “how do you balance it all?”. Their reference I guess was life! Marriage, career, Church life, leadership responsibilities, kids, family, the list goes on. But if I am honest this question always irritated me and I found myself frustrated that I couldn't provide an articulate answer.

A Beautiful Mind

I have recently emerged from a season of prayer and seeking God with a new mandate on my life. For myself and for the many women I have the honour of ministering to. It begins with this simple truth, which is carried on God's heart for us. That we are called to cultivate a beautiful mind.

The Corinthian church would have been in tears as Paul corrected them and the Israelites would have heard the passion of the prophet Isaiah calling them to repent.

It doesn't matter how experienced you are at life or how many years you have up your cutesleeve - the truth is that each and every "new season" (and each and every invitation to soar to new heights) demands of us afresh ... it demands new devotion, new faith, new boldness and new realms of faithfulness.
